Dinosaur Roar

This year I figured Aiden was old enough to choose his own Halloween costume. I took him to two different places and everything I showed him he refused to even touch. Finally at ToysRus, he saw a dinosaur costume down an aisle and pointed at it and told me he wanted it. Perfect. Choice made. Then when we got home he refused to put it on. Of course. Luckily, he had a month to get used to the idea and come Halloween he happily put on his costume and stomped around like a dinosaur.

Trick or Treat in Grandpa's neighborhood. He just gave the people weird looks and couldn't figure out why they were giving him candy.

Then caramel apples and pumpkin carving. Don't you love Ryan's chin covered in caramel? He had no idea. :)

The Saturday before Halloween we celebrated with Ryan's mom and sisters. The kids had a fun bounce house to play in and got so many fun Halloween foods to eat. My in-laws are amazingly creative. We had "mummy" babies (hot dogs), witches brews with eyeballs, ghost cake balls, spooky cheese and a ton more yummy food items to enjoy. A couple of the kids were a little unsure of all the scary food but Aiden happily dug in! :)

The kids finding glow sticks hidden in the dark basement. So much fun that Grandma had to hide the glow sticks multiple times so the kids could keep on finding them.
We went to Randy's Pumpkin Patch again this year. We went with our good friends whose daughter is one of Aiden's best friends... not to mention the fact that I adore her and wish they would let me adopt her!! They had a ton of fun petting bunnies and riding the train. The moving blow up spiders were not such a big hit with the kiddos and sent them running each time they moved. Thanks friends for a fun night.
