Damian's 2nd Birthday Party

Saturday, May 3rd was our nephew's 2nd birthday. He was so much fun! The theme of the party was Jungle Book because that is his favorite movie right now. He was fast to say his favorite characters names as he would point them out to you (there were figurines). The cutest was when we sang him the happy birthday song. I guess this is his favorite song and on the drive to the party he made his mom sing him the happy birthday song 10 times and it was always to something different. One time to his "boo-boo" (he has 7 stitches on his finger), another time to his toy, etc. So when he had lots of people all singing to him he was so happy! He had such a big smile on his face and we ended up having to sing him the song twice and also let him blow out the candles twice!

Lots of Work

(Okay so here are the pictures - doesn't that roof look nice??) :)
So, I have been horrible about posting lately so I figured I just need to write a blog and add the picture later! Ryan has been blessed with a lot of business lately and one of his jobs was for a LDS church in Alabama. This meant staying in a hotel for 5 days and working 14 hour days. We figured he put in 70 hours of work in 5 days. He was sooo exhausted when he got home! He couldn't rest though because our neighbors were getting baptized that night so he just had to hurry and dress for the baptism. I caught him catching a quick snooze in his church clothes. He literally passed out as soon as his head hit the pillow.
