Baby Showers!

So thank you to my friends and family that threw me baby showers!
My wonderful mother-in-laws and sister-in-laws threw me a baby shower on October 18th. We had a great turn out and yummy food! There was fruit pizza, Mississippi mud brownies, sandwiches, pasta salad and fresh fruit! Being pregnant, I was in heaven! The friends and family members brought wonderful gifts for baby Aiden! Thank you to everyone for coming!

The wonderful table of food!

My wonderful mother-in-laws!! (And my wonderful father-in-law!)
Angie is Ryan's mom and Diane is Ryan's step-mom.

My great sister-in-laws, Amber and Megan.

After the baby shower they helped me bring all the gifts back to my house and then we all set up the big items! We got the stroller & car seat set up, the pack-n-play and the bouncer seat. Ryan and I are now officially walking by baby items everyday in our house and realizing that he is going to get here so soon!

Baby Shower #2
My girlfriends, Sharon, Sarah and Lindsay threw me a baby shower on October 25th. They did such a wonderful job! The decorations were so adorable (little white umbrellas) and the food was again, DELICIOUS! Lindsay made a brownie truffle with raspberries that was to die for! This time friends from my ward came and again we had a wonderful turn out. Thank you all so much for coming and for the wonderful gifts you gave for baby Aiden!
The wonderful ladies that worked so hard on the baby shower!

Some of the group enjoying some food and mingling time!
Okay, so I just have to say that I have many very talented friends! I have 4 people make me baby blankets! I'm having issues with uploading photos right now so I promise to post the other blanket pictures soon!

Kindra made a blanket that had baseballs on it plus matching burp cloths.

Rachel Shumway made this beautiful and VERY soft blanket.
Then Emily Rusch knit a blue and white blanket and Nicole Park's mother-in-law knit a yellow one. I think baby Aiden is going to have his choice of blankets!
Thank you all for coming and supporting us! We love you all!

Halloween Bash

I love this time of year and the start of the Holiday season! We invited friends over for a Halloween party where we ate chili, carved pumpkins and made caramel apples. Yum! Everybody carved a pumpkin and then we turned out all the lights to enjoy our handiwork! Justin and Kristina's was a little on the racy side, I don't think it was necessarily G rated! :)

Mine is the front middle pumpkin... he was special!

Ya, I couldn't really get a good picture of the pumpkins with the lights out.

Who is this big pregnant women who took over my body??!!! 1 more month until baby comes!

I have NO idea what the boys are doing in this picture!!!!!

James REALLY enjoying being fed pumpkin goo by Russ!

Helen for Oktoberfest!

Helen is this really cute German town in Northeast Georgia. Every year they have Oktoberfest where tons of people come to town to party (basically drink lots of beer!) We obviously, didn't go there for that! Instead we enjoyed some fresh fudge and ice cream and then went to a corn maze and I got some hot cider! The town was so cute! I wish I had been there with enough daylight hours to take some good pictures of all the buildings but maybe next year!

Yummy Fudge!
The whole group (James is in there- he's just hiding behind Sharon!) You can kind of see one of the buildings lit up in the background.

Ryan and Russ and James all decided to get some action shots. Let's just say, it is REALLY hard to time a good shot with a digital camera delay!

The girls and boys at the entrance to the corn maze posing!

Yeah we made it! This is at the end of the corn maze (we kind of cheated to get to all 7 points but we did it!)

2 Month Late Birthday Post!

So ya, I know I am way behind on blogging about my birthday party but better late than never! We had a lot of friends that were able to make it that evening so it turned out to be a huge and fun event! We all met at Maggiano's, an Italian restaurant, at 8pm. I believe there were 13 of us there that they crowded onto 2 tables they had pushed together. We didn't have much room for all of the food and plates but it was still a lot of fun! Half of the table chose the "family style" dining which means for $25 per person you get unlimited appetizer, salad, pasta, main entree and dessert! Let's just say that we were pretty stuffed! Thanks everybody for joining us for my birthday celebration!
